Obituary For Carole Krull
September 15,1932 – August 16,2024
Carole Krull who was born on September 15, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully at home in Clermont, FL, on August 16, 2024, Surrounded by family.
Carole was the oldest of 3 children and the family moved from Brooklyn to Jamaica, NY when she was 10 years old. She attended PS 35, and graduated from Jamaica High School. During her public-school years, she was a cheerleader for the basketball team. After High School, she attended S.U.N.Y College at Oneonta. She lived with family there, since there were no dormitories, and became lifelong friends with their daughter, Nancy. She started a club called the "Lucky Devils" who used to meet in the family's basement.
She met her husband, Marvin, when they were in their teens. Their mothers were close friends and dad knew when they met that someday he would marry her, on October 24,1952, they were married. They went on to have three children, whom they raised on Long Island. When the children were older, Carole went back to work as a bank teller, helping support the family. When bank hours expanded to night and weekends, she left because it would take too much time away from the family. She went to become a buyer for a tool company, where worked many years until retirement.
After retiring, Carole and Marvin moved to South Florida, where she became a caregiver to her mother, Mother-in-law and aunts. They decided to make their last move to Clermont, to be closer to their daughter, and great grandchildren.
After 68+ years of marriage, Carole was preceded in death by her husband Marvin (June 2022). She is survived by her two younger brothers, Ted and Don (Sheryl); three loving children, Jeffery, Michael (Andrea), and Lori (Ed); four wonderful grandchildren; and three beautiful great grandchildren. We will miss you dearly Carole, Mom, Grandma, & Gigi, but you'll always be in our hearts - Rest in Peace.
