Carol Ann Briggs, 89, of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025.
Born in Portland, Maine, on August 21, 1935, Carol lived a life full of grace, love, and kindness. She and her husband, James Briggs, shared many years of happiness together, building a life rooted in faith, giving, and compassion. As a dedicated member of the Bahá'í Faith, Carol's life was guided by principles of unity, service to others, and spirituality.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband, James Briggs; her son, David Briggs; her daughter, Sheryl Briggs; her beloved grandchildren, Jamie Craigie, Sarah Briggs, and Marissa Duval; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Briggs, and her granddaughter, Lindsey Duval.
She will be remembered always for her kind heart, unwavering spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.
A burial service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Oakland Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
