Carmen Valentin passed away peacefully with family by her side.

She was born on February 14, 1933 in Manati, Puerto Rico to parents, Pedro and Felicita Miranda. Years later she met our father, Viviano Valentin and they married in 1956. In 1959,  their first child Armando was born and the family then moved to Brooklyn, New York where children Edward and Vivian were born.

She worked from 1960 until 1974 when she gave birth to our baby sister, Marisela. After Marisela was born Carmen decided to leave work and spend time taking care of us and the home.

Carmen and Viviano eventually bought our first house in 1996 where their first grandchild Alexander was born.

In 2003 the family moved to Minneola, Florida.

Our mother never tired even after the death of our father and later the death of her youngest child Marisela.

She began to slow down only in her last year to her frustration.

She is survived by sons; Armando, Edward, and daughter; Vivian, grandchildren Alexander, Athena, Artemis, Edimar and Omar.
