Carmen Charles Messina, born April 14, 1937, joined wife Dora and daughter Lissa in Heaven on Monday, January 27, 2020. Carmen is survived by daughter Michele (husband Rich), grandsons Dylan (wife Briana), Richie, Anthony and Christian, and great grand-children Sahira, Jayden, and Evalysse.

Carmen was a loving and devoted husband of 52 years. His wife, Dora, was the love of his life. They met after Carmen left high school early to serve in the Navy. Carmen said it was love at first sight. He never got over her passing in October of 2011.

Carmen was a wonderful father to his daughters and cherished each of his grandsons and great-grandchildren. There was nothing that meant more to him than his family.

He was a good neighbor and friend, loved to tell jokes and had a great sense of humor.

Carmen touched the lives of all who met him and he will be missed by everyone but has found his peace back in the arms of his wife, daughter and our Lord in Heaven.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Carmen will be laid to rest next to his wife and daughter at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont, FL.
