Carla Patricia Thompson "Susie"

February 8, 1953- November 9, 2023

Susie Thompson was the 3rd of 4 sisters. She is survived by her sister Janet Lapin, daughter Melissa Bloyd, son Sonny Thompson, and son Eric Thompson.

Susie was an AMAZING sister and single mother who not only raised her children, but was the neighborhood mom as well! She may have never taken in stray dogs, but she would take in a kid that was a friend to her children.  Her home was the popular hangout where there was never discrimination of creed or color and all children were considered children of God. As a Grandmother to Brooke, Hannah, Collin, Lilly, and Chloe, her love was freely given and unconditional! She would sit with them for hours at a time sharing her love of music, coloring pictures, making jewelry and doing arts and crafts together.

To say Susie was a culinary Mentor and Ninja is an understatement! Not only was she a Chef for Walt Disney World for over 15 years, but she cooked for many famous musical icons such as: Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, and many more! Susie also carved a chocolate sculpture of Tina Turner's famous sexy legs during her Million Dollar tour. Susie was funny, witty, and loved to laugh and tell jokes! She enjoyed visiting the beach, traveling, and watching all of the space launches from Cape Canaveral, FL. She loved the USA and was an avid military supporter to all military branches! She will be loved and missed by all that knew her!

And to quote what she used to say one last time, "It's never goodbye, but see you later!

Services for Susie will be privately held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont, Florida.
