Brunilda Wakefield was born January 4, 1954, to the late Pedro Pagan Negron and Ana Celia Pagan in Sabalos,Mayaguez Puerto Rico. Brunilda was the youngest of six siblings. She received her education at Landis Junior High School in Vineland, New Jersey. There she met her friend Emilia Pinto and her first Husband Angel L Rodriguez Sr., in 1968 she had three children from that union. Brunilda started working at Kimble Glass as a Machine Operator, she was the only female that did the work of males, she started in 1972 at the age of eighteen. She met the love of her life Robert L. Wakefield Sr. in 1980 at work. They got married on August 10, 1988, and the wedding took place on October 8, 1988. As the years passed, they moved to Clermont Florida in 2000. Brunilda was a faithful and loving wife, a best friend to her husband. She loved her children and taught them to never lose sight even though times may seem helpless, she taught them how to fight and she spoiled her grandchildren with gifts, especially on birthdays. She was a caregiver and a helper when no one came. She was the mouthpiece for many and was brutally honest even if the truth hurt. Brunilda's home was always open for her nephews, nieces, and friends she held their hands through good and tough times in their lives. Brunilda was a servant who quickly offered a ride to someone in need and was quick to invite someone to her church telling them this is where they needed to be. Brunilda loved to swim and walk daily, it really gave her a peace of mind. Brunilda loved to play bingo, dominos, and board games with her grandchildren. Also, she had a kind and loving spirit and often shared wisdom and Godly counseling with those she met. Brunilda loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. Brunilda's grandchildren were her pride and joy, all of them were her favorite and she treated them as such.
