Obituary

Brian Douglas Sukitch, 57, passed away on January 13, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

Born on June 4, 1967, and raised in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brian spent his early years surrounded by family and friends. He graduated from North Catholic High School and continued his education at Duquesne University. Brian dedicated over three decades of his professional life to UPS, where he rose to the position of Gateway Manager at their Pittsburgh International Airport facility before retiring.

Brian is lovingly remembered by his parents, Bill and Marion Sukitch; his brothers, Mike (Anita) Sukitch and Bill (Eileen) Sukitch; his two sons, Ken (Courtney) Sukitch and Bill (Brittney) Sukitch; and his cherished granddaughter, Christina Rose. His family will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Brian had a profound love for the water, sun, and sand. His passion for travel often led him to beaches across the United States and the Caribbean. Whether relaxing on land or enjoying a cruise, these trips brought him immense joy and created lasting memories.

Throughout his life, Brian faced significant health challenges with courage and resilience. A cancer survivor and liver transplant recipient, he inspired those around him with his strength. In honor of Brian's legacy, he and his family encourage others to consider becoming organ donors to help give others the same second chance that he was so grateful to receive.

In celebration of Brian's life, a gathering will be held this summer at one of his favorite beach locations on Hilton Head Island.

May Brian's memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
