Brandy Gale Mackey, 45 was born on November 11, 1973 in West Palm Beach, Florida, a fifth generation Florida native. Brandy passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019 of AML Leukemia at Mike Connely Hospice house after a long and hard two and one half year battle, with her family by her side. Brandy was a graduate of Santalales High School in Lantana Florida and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton Florida with a degree in Psychology. She went on to work at Palm Beach Community College, now Palm Beach State College before moving to Orlando to work for the theme parks of Disney and Universal, a longtime dream of hers. Brandy loved spending days outdoors with her daughter, Ashlynn, going to theme parks and goofing off. She loved to read Stephen King novels and build Legos.

Brandy is survived by daughter, Ashlynn Mackey, parents; Steven and Gale Mackey, and beloved friends. Brandy will be greatly missed by family and friends.
