Bonnie A. Nelson
August 14, 1950  - August 1, 2024
Bonnie passed away at home sleeping peacefully. She battled pancreatic cancer but always kept her beautiful smile and positive spirit. Bonnie spent her life in Central Florida and graduated Haines City High School in 1968.
Bonnie married Van Nelson September 1, 1980 and had a wonderful life filled with sports such as volleyball, jogging, exercise and golf. They loved to travel and found many opportunities for adventures, often traveling with friends to exciting places around the world.
Bonnie loved her career at Publix Supermarkets which spanned over 40 years.  Beginning as a part-time cashier while in high school, she found challenging opportunities throughout her career with many promotions and culminating in her role as Director of Business Development.
Bonnie is survived by her brother Dennis Hays.
Friends are welcome to attend Bonnie's Celebration of Life  at 11:00 on September 14, 2024 at Esplanade at Highland Ranch Clubhouse, 990 Ridgeglen Way, Clermont, Fl.  All are invited to stay for lunch at the clubhouse following the celebration.
