Obituary

Bobby Clymer, age 69, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2025. Bobby was a devoted husband to his wife, Kim Clymer, with whom he shared 14 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend to many.

Bobby was the beloved father of Justin Clymer, and Josh Clymer. He also was a father to Landon Spaulding, Brook Crittendon, Dylan Spaulding, and Faith Weber. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Caden Clymer, Emma Clymer, Coleman Spaulding, Ava Spaulding, Riley Crittendon, Meredith Crittendon, and Noah Crittendon.

Bobby was born in 1956 to Kenneth and Edith Feezor. He is the youngest of his siblings Dennis Clymer (brother) & Carolyn Blagg (sister). Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; his mother, Edith; and his brother, Dennis.

A proud Civil Engineer and Construction Superintendent, Bobby began his career in Kentucky, where he was a business owner of two very successful landscaping companies, Clymer Landscaping LLC, and Clyco LLC, which he operated with his son, Justin. One of his favorite projects was his landscaping design of the Paxton Golf Course, in Paducah, KY, which was a very special place for him as he spent many years in his childhood with his father (who was the greenskeeper) at the course.

He continued his success as a Civil Surveyor and Estimator where he devoted over 20+ years completing various construction projects in Paducah, Bowling Green, Missouri, and Tennessee. Bobby's Civil expertise led him to move to Florida in November 2016 where he served as a Construction Superintendent for many major project sites, including building Mosaic Church in Winter Garden, Lakeside Church, multiple BurgerFi's, The Tesla Dealership, and several other commercial buildings and churches in the local area.

In his free time, Bobby enjoyed watching Fox News, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, fishing, and playing golf. In his early years he was a professional fisherman and won several tournaments. He also was an avid hunter, outdoorsmen, and classic car enthusiast. He was proud of his 1972 Dodge Charger and had a love for classic American muscle cars.

Bobby was very well known in Kentucky as a golfer. He was a scratch golfer and won many prestigious golf tournaments and championship flights. Even up to a few days ago Bobby could shoot par and well below. His friends and colleagues continue to say that he was the best golfer they ever had the privilege to play with!

Bobby had a larger-than-life personality and could make just about anyone laugh! He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Services to honor and celebrate Bobby's life will be held at Mosaic Church in Winter Garden, FL on Saturday, March 22nd, at 10:00 AM, followed by a celebration of life luncheon in the social hall at 11:00 AM.

Bobby's ashes will be spread by the family. He will also have a service at the Paxton Golf Course in Paducah, KY at a later date TBD.

Bobby's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time. His legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Bobby was passionate about coaching and helping young golfers. Therefore, a scholarship fund has been established in Bobby's name that will be donated to support an amateur golfer pursuing their golf career. The scholarship will be offered to any young golfer through an application process and will be selected by the family.
