Blaine Daniels

The world has lost another hero. On Wednesday, September 5, 2018 Blaine Daniels passed from this life to be with The Lord at the age of 94.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.  He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Jo (Hodge) Daniels, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  Blaine is survived by his brother Paul, sons Michael (Gail), Bradley (Janie), and Blaine Allen (Linda), and daughters Alison Smith and Berniece (Mike) Greene, as well as 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Blaine proudly served his country for nearly 3 decades in the US Navy serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.  He loved his country, he loved life and he loved people.  Blaine always shared that he had a good, long life and did not have any regrets.

For the past 5 years Blaine has resided at Superior Residences of Clermont.  The family wishes to thank them for all their loving care.

Because Blaine loved children so much, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Blaine's name to St Jude's Children's Charities, the Salvation Army or a charity honoring his fellow veterans.

Visitation is Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.  Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Becker Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL.
