Billy Joe Hoyle, Sr., age 71, Clermont, passed away September 26, 2019 at home. He was born December 2, 1947 in Lincolnton, NC son of Retha Mae Strickland & William Linberry Hoyle, Sr. and moved to Florida with his family as an infant. He was a 1967 graduate of Leesburg High School prior to joining the US Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam era. On May 9, 1969 he was united in marriage to Irma Jean Parrish in Dothan, AL. In 1974 he began a 22 year career as a fire fighter with the city of Orlando Fire Department. For many years he was a Little League baseball coach in Azalea Park. After retirement his hobby was buying & selling at various flea markets in the central Florida area.

Survivors include his wife Irma; sons Billy Hoyle, Jr., Parrish, FL & Paul Hoyle, Winter Garden; grandchildren Angela & Hunter; sister Bonnie Kanneberg, Fruitland Park & numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William Hoyle, Jr. of Waycross, GA.

The Memorial Service and Celebration of Life Service for Billy Joe Hoyle, Sr. will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the Becker Chapel. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers to please contribute to a charity of the donor's choice in his name.
