Billie Earl Nelson, 62, of Groveland, FL passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016. He was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL in 1953 and graduated from Walton High School in 1971. He worked at Citrus Central in Orlando for 21 years and Walt Disney World for 17 years as an industrial mechanic.

He was a member of Bay Lake Baptist Church in Groveland, FL. He enjoyed working in his shop helping people in the Bay Lake Community. He loved fishing, drag racing and listening to Blue Grass music.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of 42 years, son, William (Buster) and his wife, Emily, and grandchildren Brylee and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Jane Simpler of DeFuniak Springs and his brother, Gordon Nelson of Groveland.
