Bibi Rehana Jaisingh, 65, of Groveland, Florida passed away Friday, January 13
th
, 2017 in her residence.
Bibi was born on December 28
th
, 1951 at home in Trumph Village, East Coast Demerara in Guyana.
She was the only daughter of Manawar and Rosie.
Our beloved Bibi Jaisingh was a lifelong resident of Sarah Johanna, East Bank Demerara before moving in 1991 to New York.
In July 2004, she moved and made Groveland Florida her final residence.
Bibi's life resolved around family life, but she was an incredible seamstress and cook.
She has made many brides happy with her talent!
Bibi is survived by her loving and caring husband of 47 years, William James Jaisingh, 4 sons: Kenny, Kenneth, Kenrick, Kennard and only daughter Nirmala, 21 grandchildren: Stephanie, Kenny Jr., Michelle, Kevin, Linda, Michael, Lenny, Kris, Miranda, Nanda, Crystal, Mark, Melanie, Crystina, Johnathon, Kumar, Jayden, Selena, Joshua, Jamin and Justin, 4 daughter-in-laws: Carol, Priya, Indira and Alesha and son-in -law, Michael.
Bibi is also leaving behind her adopted children, Prado and Nanda, Mary whom she loved more as a daughter than niece.
Bibi is the beloved daughter-in-law of the late James and Rukim Jaisingh, only sister of the Hanif, Bobby and Sabdar. She is the boujie of Sugrim, Dorin, Maureen, Edward, Elizabeth, Solomon, Rehana and Peter. She is the sister-in-law of Baby, Neisha, Patty , Jason, Rafman, Kamil, Baso, Chandroutie, and Paro. Cousins of Lynette, Data, Joyce, Tita, Zarina, Hassan, and Fizuse. Cousin-in-laws of Gean, Murthland, Iris, Rhona, Cookie, and Savatri. She is the aunt of countless nieces and nephews, some of whom she was more a mother than aunt. Bibi is the beloved friend and confidante of numerous and related to a very large community of relatives and friends. Bibi was diagnosed with uterine cancer on August 2014. She was an incredibly and extremely strong woman! She has undergone a major surgery in 2014 and various chemo treatments before and since then. Her last fight these past weeks has been a tough one, but this loving and tough woman continued to fight until finally she took her last breath on Friday, January 13 th , 2017.
Bibi is the beloved daughter-in-law of the late James and Rukim Jaisingh, only sister of the Hanif, Bobby and Sabdar. The Jaisingh family suggests in lieu of flowers/donations would be greatly appreciated to send any donations to the Florida Cancer Specialist to further research uterine cancer. This will help to spread awareness as there is not many treatment programs on uterine cancer.
