Beverly J. Schmitt, 81, of Leesburg, FL passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Clermont Health and Rehabilitation.  Beverly was born on March 18, 1931 in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of Rudolph C. and Elsie Stoffel.  She and her late husband, Rudolf were co-founders of the Township Times newspaper in Saginaw Township, MI.  After retirement they moved to Florida.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Karen Losee of Lake Orion, MI and grandchildren, Nicole, Jillian, Zaakory, Reed, Kristi, Drew and Shannon.  She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolf and son, R. James Schmitt.



Services and interment will be held in Saginaw, Michigan.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
