Obituary

Betty S. Taylor, 90, of Altoona, FL passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019.  Betty was born on October 14, 1928 in Knightstown, IN, daughter of David and May Snow.  She was a longtime resident of the South Lake area before moving to Altoona in 2019.  Betty previously   lived in Indiana, where she was an office worker for the State of Indiana. She was an avid bridge player and quilting enthusiast. She traveled extensively throughout her life. She was a member of Clermont's First United Methodist Church for 30 years.


Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Fred; children, Greg (Kim) Taylor of Nappanee, IN, Marc Taylor of Lafayette, Colorado and Shari (Brent) Hendrickson of Atlanta, GA; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Betty's life will be held on August 23rd at Lakeview Terrace Wellness Center in Altoona at 1:30 pm.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials in Betty's name to The Make a Wish Foundation.
