Betty Jean Smith, 89, of Mascotte, FL passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012.  Betty was born on May 16, 1923 in Oakland City, IN the daughter of Moses and Carrie (nee Wilhelm) Loveless.  She was a beautician and homemaker.  Betty moved to Mascotte from Cincinnati, OH to live with her daughter Elizabeth who took care of her for the past 5 years. Betty was a Presbyterian as well as member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Washington Chapter #195, Hamilton, OH.

Betty is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Abel Jimenez) Barbro of Mascotte, FL and Douglas Smith of Kentucky; grandchildren, Heather Spatta of Clermont, Scott Bond of Mt. Dora, FL and Michelle Thompson of NC ; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Andrew, Sara and James Bond, Hayley, Paige and Blake Spatta and Logan Thompson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Virl Norris Smith in 2009 and 1 brother and 1 sister.
