Betty was a very loving mother, wife, sister, cousin, and friend. She resided at Cranes View Lodge for the last seven years where she made many friends and adored her caretakers, cleaning crew, maintenance crew, kitchen, front desk and office staff. In her earlier years at Crane's View Lodge she enjoyed crafts, bingo and Wii bowling, as well as running the Lodge store with her sidekick Carol Caudell. She had a few roommates over the years there as well. Dolores and Judy were great companions and they kept each other going when one or the other needed a boost.

Betty will be greatly missed by all those who loved her, however all are grateful she is finally out of pain and rejoicing with all those who went before her. The family is requesting anyone who is wanting to send flowers or make any other contributions, please consider a donation to Cornerstone Hospice or any charity of your choice.

The family will have a graveside gathering at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand, where her ashes will be placed with her first husband Max at a later date.
