Bessie Alice Hodgen, 74

September 24, 1937 - May 14, 2012



Bessie Alice Hodgen, daughter of Mable and Julius Hodgen, sister to Ray Hodgen and

Nancy Weaver, passed away on May 14, 2012. She leaves behind her three beloved children,

daughter Phyllis and husband Curt Temple, daughter Suzanne and husband Jim Gaut and

son Steven and wife Tina McCall. As well as her four precious grandchildren she loved,

treasured and adored, Amanda, Lucas, Stevie and Jessie.

always sharing with us what she knew

by the way she lived

she loved everyone

she could never hate

she wrapped herself around us

always gave us love

always gave us time

her rock was true love

she showed us what that truly meant

now her time on earth is gone

time we cannot change

so we embrace her essence, her smile

the way she shined and radiated

you are in our hearts, our minds, our souls

we feel your bond most when we are all together

we miss you unbelievably and always will

until we are all together again.



A true angel can''t be found in the ground,

Her ashes spread at the foot of her parents' graves was her wish

and buried next to her one true love was her children's

You are always in our thoughts and prayers and forever in our hearts.
