Obituary

Bernice Pizont Garbaravage, age 89, passed on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Mike Connely Hospice House, Clermont. She was born in Nanticoke, Pa. and spent most of married life in Iselin, NJ. She moved to Clermont in 2001 and resided with her daughter, Pamela Schmitz. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and an avid volunteer. She was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 2636, Iselin, NJ. Volunteered at Cornerstone Hospice and The Faith Neighborhood Center. She loved to read and play cards. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Schmitz, Clermont, her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sharon Garbaravage, Tavares. Grandson, Jason Sokloski, Atlanta, Granddaughters, Jennifer Sokloski, Clermont, Marissa and Kassidy Garbaravage, Tavares, her brother and sister-in-law, Charles & Natalie Pizont, Nanticoke, Pa, Sister-in-laws, Elanore Pizont and Roz Pizont, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Becker Funeral Home, Clermont on Wednesday, June 15th from 6 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 16th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont.
