Bernard Ralph De Santos was born on May 3rd, 1938 to Edward King and Winifred De Santos. From a very young age, he displayed immense intelligence, which led to him receiving top marks in school.

At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Guyana police force where he served for several years. In the late 1960s, he immigrated to the United States and was employed for many years by the NYNEX Corporation in 1993.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin. He is survived by his wife, Bernice De Santos; 5 children, Trevor, Deborah, Sonia, Roxanne, and Justin; 2 sons in law, Al and John;  2 daughters in law, Tashonna, and Mercedes; 9 grandchildren; Alise, Kevin Jr., Jessica, Brandon, Taylor, Brittany, Aaliyah, Remy, and Asher, 3 grandchildren in law; David, Jamar, and Talia, 3 great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Mia, and Ariel;  2 sisters; Claire and Lynette, and countless other cousins, nieces and nephews.
