Bennie K. Kidd, 75, passed peacefully on February 17, 2022, with his wife of 12 years by his side in Clermont, FL.

Mr. Kidd was born May 7th, 1947 in Wayne County, Indiana. A proud Vietnam veteran, Bennie spent 23 years in the United States Air Force as a jet maintenance mechanic. After being discharged from the military, Bennie worked for Northrop Grumman in Milledgeville, Georgia up until his retirement in 2010. In 2010 Bennie came to Florida with his wife Joy and her family. He and his wife purchased a home in Clermont where they spent many wonderful years making memories in the company of their family and friends.

Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Joy; children and their spouses, Gail and Chad McDonald, Ryan and Erin Weston, Tommy Kidd, and Lucia Kidd; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and two sisters Madonna and Kathy.

At the request of his family, the viewing and memorial service will be kept private and limited to family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
