Ben F. Froggett, 82, born in Kingston, Michigan, formerly of Albany, New York, passed away in Clermont, Florida on September6, 2021. When Ben married Linda Scholtterer, it was the beginning of a true love story for 33 years.

Ben was the father of Jeffrey Froggett, Craig Froggett, and Kimberly Froggett.  He was grandfather to Dana Froggett, Carly Froggett, Ty Froggett, Tait Froggett, and Adam Froggett, as well as"Pa" to Sophia and Julia Condon. Ben was brother to Joan (Bob) Campbell, Michael Froggett, Nardine Froggett, and predeceased by his brother Sam Froggett. Ben was survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ben was a registered gemologist who graduated from the Gemological Institute of America and attended both Wayne State University and Oakland University of Michigan. He was a Shriner for 50 years, was Potentate of the Albany NY Shriners in 2001, and was on the Shriners Board of Governors and served as the Public Relations Chairman for the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Ben was an avid sports fan and never missed watching a University of Michigan football game, His sense of humor was contagious and he always had a joke to brighten someone's day and was a friend to many.
