After a long life, Barbara Elaine Bond passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025.

Born October 3, 1935 in Kingston, Jamaica & raised largely by her beloved "Nanny", she navigated the choppy waters of life. Married & divorced at a young age, raised her oldest daughter Sandra & set out for the U.S. where she started a new life with her beloved husband Els (Gerald). Their first generation American children, Stephanie & Eldon solidified their foothold in America-& the chance for a new life as American citizens.

Barbara was a "Jack of All Trades", moving seamlessly through careers & mastering all. She made friends wherever she went & was always up for a laugh. Need to gossip? Go to Barbara. Oh, you have a cough? Ask Barbara. Barbara definitely had a story/remedy/advice for everything. And she will be missed.

Barbara is survived by her husband Els (Gerald), daughters Sandra & Stephanie, son Eldon & step daughter Sharon. Her sister June, countless cousins, family & friends mourn her loss but rejoice in her peace. There is freedom in release.
