Aura "Mita" Hernandez Sampayo, age 100, passed away on June 14, 2019 in Clermont, Florida. She was born on February 12,1919 in Gamarra, Colombia to Federico Sampayo and Aura Badillo.

She was survived by her daughters Teresa Urrego and her husband Jhonny, and Nohora Duhaney, late son Luis Hernandez, and Afranio Hernandez and his wife Silvia. Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Emilse Carrasquilla, late Federico Sampayo, late Rafael Sampayo, late Magola Carrasquilla, late Luis Sampayo, late Eliseo Sampayo, and late Hercilia Vitola.
