She moved to central Florida in the early 70's. She was of Baptist faith & visited Real Life Christian Church of Clermont, FL. She was a very dedicated single mom who worked multiple jobs to care for her sons and she also lovingly helped raise her grandchildren Alan and Christina. Some of her favorite hobbies and passtimes included cooking for family and friends, trips to Georgia to see her sisters and extended family, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, playing scrabble, and crossword puzzles. She gave of her time to knit hats for cancer patients and infants. In her retired years her brother Mel passed on his love of the Atlanta Braves to her. Her television would either be tuned-in to Braves baseball, a game show or an old Western. We love you Granny. You were truly one of a kind.
