Obituary

Aubrey Rachelle Medrano, 41, of Clermont Florida, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Born on September 12, 1984, in Moses Lake, Washinton, Aubrey was the beloved daughter of Tamara Medrano. She grew up in both Orlando and Celebration, Florida, and graduated from Celebration K-12 in 2002. Aubrey went on to get both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Central Florida and Stetson University. Her career in education included elementary teacher, physical education teacher, dean and literacy coach in the School District of Osceola County. Aubrey was known for how she brought light to everyone and every room she ever entered, her bigger than life personality, how much she cared about her students and coworkers, and the love she had for her family, friends, husband and especially her daughter Presley. Her love of adventure, her quick wit and sense of humor, her drive and passion for everything life had to offer and her love of the holidays, birthdays and anything she could turn into a celebration.

Aubrey just had a passion for life, even through the hardest times. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family, watching and playing sports, especially those that included any hard contact and fouls, and just being present and making the most of every day. She loved game nights and if the game included gambling even better. Her favorite was Cee-lo. She was also known for her love of pranks and for sharing jokes, making sure she kept you on your toes and laughing. Traditions were important, and her favorites were holidays and family movie nights with her daughter Presley.

She was the strongest, brightest, bravest and most loving person most of us will ever know. Aubrey is survived by her husband, Bryan Mosser; her daughter, Presley Mosser; her mother, Tamara Medrano; her two brothers, Caleb Medrano and Louis Linnenberg; and her stepfather, Pelham Taylor. She is also survived by her grandmother Lorraine Medrano, and so many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Aubrey was preceded in death by a grandfather, Ralph Medrano; and a grandmother, Margaret Blackman.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Clermont, FL, at Mullets Sports Bar on April 4th 2026 from 2pm-5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family will be providing links to the charities and causes that Aubrey cared about and supported with the details for her celebration.
