Obituary
A lifelong resident of Central Florida. A Boone High School graduate. Owned a successful landscaping business for 30 years.
Jamie was an avid outdoorsman and loved all things in nature. He enjoyed volunteering his time at the church and selflessly helped others whenever possible. He is unmatched in character, kindness and generosity. A constant happy-go-lucky demeanor enveloped his entire existence. In his 55 years of life he was never known to have wronged or hurt another. All that knew him sing his praises. A true gentle giant. He will be missed more than anything.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend Sharon of nearly 30 years, son Brandon, along with Brittany (Tom), Brandi (Tyler), and Brooke (Zach). Proud grandfather to new grandchildren Henry and Haley. Mother Janet and late Father Arthur Drake Sr, late sister Pam (Charlie), sister Patti (Eddie) and nieces and nephews Dana (Chris), Katie, Luke and Maddie.
He wished to be cremated and his ashes will be distributed in many places around the world.
A humble man, referring to himself as "Strong like Bull, Smart like Tractor."
His memorial service will be held at Woodlands Lutheran Church in Monteverde FL. 10AM Saturday April 7th 2018.
