Armand Stepanian, 89, passed away in the early hours of April 11, 2015, returning to the Lord and the loving arms of his beloved, Jennie. Born on December 18, 1925 to Hemayak and Manoushok Stepanian, Armand came to this country an Armenian immigrant, building a new life with his family in New York and serving his adopted home bravely in the Merchant Marines throughout World War Two. Though a world traveler, his favorite place was by the side of his true love and faithful wife of 62 years, Jennie.
Surviving are his children: daughter and constant companion Susan & husband Don, son Stephen and wife Christine, daughter Ellen, and sons Kenneth and Jeffrey together with nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Armand was a faithful son, devoted father and talented worker. He had the uncanny ability to fix anything, a sharp sense of humor and a positive outlook on life, especially in the most daunting of challenges. A music lover for life, even in his final days the dulcet sounds of his whistling brought lightness to those around him.
