Archie Junior Mancill

Born: November 28th, 1947 in Bonifay, Florida

Passed to Glory: September 1st, 2022 at his home in Ferndale, Florida

Archie was preceded in death by his father Archie Matthew Mancill, his mother Irma Inez Mancill; sisters, Myrdice Williamson, Catherine Pierce, Christine Green, Mary Lou Mancill, and Martha Miller; brothers, Billy Gene Mancill and Carlton Mancill

Archie is survived by his wife Linda Gail Mancill of Ferndale, Florida; son David Mancill and wife Stephanie, grandson Joshua, granddaughter Jordan all of Dundee, Mississippi; son Russell Mancill of Clermont, Florida; sister Patricia Callahan of Leasburg, Florida.

Archie was born in Bonifay, Florida and later moved with his family to Tavares, Florida where he attended Tavares High school. He had a long career in the horticulture industry before he and his wife Gail became the owners of The Pool Doctor. He retired in 2020.

Archie and Gail married on January 27th, 1968 and from then on were inseparable. They raised two sons, David and Russell. Archie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Lord was an active member of Ferndale Baptist Church. He will be truly missed

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, 10am at Ferndale Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 5pm until 8pm at Becker Funeral Home.
