IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony And
Diane Mallozzi
September 24, 1948 – November 20, 2022
Anthony and Diane Ellen Mallozzi passed away as the result of complications resulting from an automobile accident. Anthony was born September 24, 1948, in Bridgeport, CT to Anthony and Mary Mallozzi and passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. Diane was born December 12, 1943, in Stratford, CT to Earl and Josephine Barber and passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. She was the last surviving child of eight siblings.
Anthony and Diane met on a blind date and were married on March 9, 1975, in St. James Church in Stratford CT. They were married for 47 years.
Diane worked as a lead cashier for Stop and Shop for many years while Anthony worked as a supervisor for the State of Connecticut Juvenile System.
Their retirement consisted of traveling, cruising, and their three grandsons. Their three grandsons were the love of their lives.
Gammie always gave the three boys her undivided attention and love. She would watch YouTube, play silly games, watch movies, and listen to their tall tales for hours on
end. Gammie's eyes would like up whenever she would be talking about her " Three lovebugs". Papa loved listening to his grandson's rant about politics, world events, and sports. Tony was a Dallas cowboy fan for life. They had him wrapped around their fingers and he would spare no expense when it came to spoiling them. The two will be greatly missed by them.
They are survived by their son; Anthony and daughter-in-law Roxanne; beloved daughter, Amber; three grandsons (lovebugs), Youssef Benladoul, Ali Benladoul, and Anthony Giovanni Mallozzi; and Tony's surviving sister Judy Salerno and her spouse.
Tony and Diane had many friends throughout their life that they considered family. They never had a bad word to say about anyone. Sadly, they will be missed by many.
