IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony Victor
Cassano
December 9, 1947 – May 8, 2022
Anthony Cassano passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Anthony was a special person and a phenomenal, unique, and brilliant husband. Anthony was born in Philadelphia on December 9, 1947. Anthony was surrounded by a family with 4 kids, 5 grandkids, and a lovely dedicated and best friend wife, Cristina. Anthony was an inspiration and guide for his wife, coming from Romania to get accustomed to a new life that they lived very happily together.
More importantly, Anthony will be remembered by all as a loving member of both his immediate family and friends and loved nothing more than sharing his quick wit, infectious smile, and his dry and sarcastic humor. He left every room in a better mood than before he got there. Anthony always exhibited great artistic talent, even at an early age doing all the artistic drawings and creating great poems.
Anthony was loved by all. As an young adult, he knew he wanted to be a marine. He realized that dream when he became a valued member of the U.S. Marine Corps. After his military career, Anthony continued to accomplish many things. At the time, he was a successful broadcast engineer for sports TV. One of the proudest days of his life was when his son Skye made the decision to follow in his footsteps and Ayden join JROTC in high school and will be joining the Marine Corps upon his graduation.
For 23 years of their married life, Anthony and his wife Cristina made time for their traveling and exploring the world, and enjoying every minute. They traveled to many countries, including Thailand, India, Japan, and Europe, which enabled them to share their love of world history as well as learning more about the phenomenal history of this great nation.
Anthony is survived by his wife Cristina, his children Terra, Skye, Brandon, and Ayden, his grandkids Rayne, Jace, Paisley, Destinee, Natalie and Mateo, his sisters Cathy and Miki and his brother Michael. Anthony was taken from us too soon and he will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Anthony's life will be held at the Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102 nd avenue, Bushnell, Florida on Monday June 6 at 10 am.
