Obituary

Annie Laurie Alaniz

 6/11/46 – 9/6/2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Laurie Alaniz, who passed away at the age of 80. Born on June 11, 1946, Annie spent her life devoted to her family and touched the lives of many. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sarah Ward; her sisters, Patricia and Carol; and her brother, Charles.

She is survived by her children, Richard Alaniz (Deanna), Joseph Alaniz (Kelie), and Angela Knoblauch (Robert). She was a proud grandmother to Christopher Alaniz (Theresa), Kaylee Morgan (Justin), Logan Alaniz, Justin Geiger, and Brooklyn Knoblauch. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Aubree, Reese, Ben, Robert, Bryson, Kitt, and Emmeri, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

Annie's greatest pride was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Her warmth, compassion, and dedication to those she loved left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though she will be deeply missed, Annie's legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly and the countless lives she touched throughout her years. Her love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified of the details when arrangements have been made.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts
