Ann Charline Therrien (1941-2025)
Ann Charline (Goodreau) Therrien, cherished wife of Richard A. Therrien Sr., born July 17, 1941, was called to be with the Lord in eternal life on August 22, 2025, in Clermont, FL. Charline was raised in West Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Charles Goodreau and Evelyn Duclos. She married her love, Dick Therrien, Dec 29, 1962 and they raised their 3 children in Springfield, MA and Granby, CT for many years. She worked at insurance agency Aherns, Fuller, St. John & Vincent (formerly Wm S Mayer Agency) in East Granby, CT.
After retirement, she and Dick moved to the Royal Highlands community in Leesburg, FL in 2003. There she was involved in many activities, including extensive travels around the world, wine tastings, puzzles, H and and Foot cards and line dancing. She served as President of the Travel Club and organized the Royal Troon Drive Residents' gathering. She was loved by many and know for her attention to detail and caring for others, especially her family. She was a 25 year breast cancer survivor. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont, FL.
She is survived by her adoring husband of 62 years, Dick Therrien and their three children: Michelle A. Collins (Timothy) of Burlington, VT; Richard A. Therrien Jr. of New Haven, CT, and Christopher P. Therrien (Desi) of Los Angeles, CA. Also surviving are 4 granddaughters, Julie (Chris), Shannon, Megan, and Lillian Collins, sister Dianne Ziegert (George) as well as nephew and nieces David Ziegert (Dannah), Lynne Rogerson (Mark), Sharon Kim (Seong) and friends from Granby, Leesburg and more. She was predeceased by niece Lisa Ziegert and beloved grandson Ryan Collins.
Funeral Mass of Celebration will be at Blessed Sacrament Church in Clermont, FL will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, 1pm, with reception to follow at the Crown and Shield Restaurant at Royal Highlands at 2:30pm. She will be laid to rest at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to charities Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, South Hero, VT in honor of grandson Ryan Collins or the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
