Ann Cleghorn Mitchell passed away quietly at home on February 19, 2020, surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her children, Lee Ann Lackey (Gary), Bo Mitchell (Amber), Elin Hanley (George) and Billy Mitchell.  Ann was also blessed with grandchildren: John Owen and Avery Lackey; Kinlee, Palmer and Harlyn Mitchell; George, Emily and Mitchell Hanley; and Will Mitchell.  She is also survived by her beloved brother, H.L. Cleghorn who resides in their hometown of Fitzgerald, Georgia.

The two greatest passions in Ann's life were her family and her career as a nurse.  She was devoted to both which led to a very fulfilling and busy life for her.  It is impossible not to smile when thinking of Ann; she was quick witted, enjoyed the simple things in life, and always found the good in people.  She enriched the lives of everyone who knew her and was loved by many.  We will miss you forever, GaGa.
