Obituary

Ann Baker Greenlee, 80, of Clermont, FL passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 in Clermont, FL.  She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, John Greenlee; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Jones of Hurdle Mills, NC; and two granddaughters, Anna Sadler of Raleigh, NC, and Haley Jones of Hurdle Mills, NC.

Ann was born in Orlando, FL to the late W.A. and Gertrude Baker and grew up in Eustis, FL, graduating from Eustis High School.  Ann attended Jones Business College in Orlando.  She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and served as the Tomoka Chapter's Constitution Week Chair, putting displays around Clermont to commemorate Constitution Week.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clermont and was a Sunday School teacher for a few years.

Over the years, Ann was a homeroom mother in Kathy's elementary school classes, often sending thoughtful cards to family and friends on their birthdays and at other important times in their lives, and helped John with behind the scenes duties at his office.  She loved feeding the wild birds in her front yard and taking care of the family pets.  She will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to send a contribution in Ann's name to the Tamassee DAR School, www.tdarschool.org , Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, www.youthranches.org or to your favorite charity.

Private graveside services will be held for the family at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont, FL.
