Anita Potter Strausser, 77, Mascotte, passed away January 31, 2013 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. She was born July 24, 1935 in Lexington, NY daughter of Minnie Cross & Charles Potter. On July 20, 1955 she was united in marriage to Harvey Strausser in Catskill, NY. A local resident since 1978 from Chester, CT, she was a Nurse's Aide as well a homemaker & member of Mascotte Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband Harvey; children Harvey A. (Karen) Strausser, Old Saybrook, CT; Ethel (George) Kyttle, Carrollton, TX; Kendell (Lisa) Strausser, Freemont, IA & Eric Strausser, Dallas, TX;11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings William (Gloria) Potter, Groveland; Susie Ellis, Sharon Springs, NY; Ellis (Betty) Potter, Wiersdale, FL & Stanton (Robin) Potter & Charles (Sharon) Potter, all of Lexington, NY; sisters-in-law Doris Potter, Mascotte, FL & Diane Potter, Lexington, NY; nieces & nephews & her extended church family.
