Obituary

Angeline [Barber] McKenzie "Ange or Angie," 68, passed away April 10, 2016. Born May 23, 1947 in Johnstown, PA, youngest daughter of Sylvester and Elizabeth [Tarbay] Barber. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Joseph and Sylvester; and sisters, Patricia Luke and Barbara Barbera. Survived by siblings: Dolores "Do" Barbera, Johnstown, PA; Rose M., married to Richard Walsh, Newnan, Ga.; Nick, Nanty Glo; Leonard, married to former Janet Handzus, Johnstown; PA.

She will be honored most for her complete dedication as a mother and as a Wife of 38 years to William Edward McKenzie; and sons, William "Bill" Sean married to Deanna, Clermont, FL; Kevin Michael married to Christa, Martinsburg, WV; and Jason Scott married to Michelle, Norfolk, UK. Her legacy will be carried on by her grandchildren, Hilary, Kelly, and Grace; and her great grandchild Tyson. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont, FL and lifelong member of All Saints Catholic Church, Manassas, VA her faith was unwavering. Her life can be simply measured by her tradition of being a lady, wife, and mother. Viewing will be 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM, Sunday at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday, at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA 20110. She will be laid to rest following the Mass on April 18 at Quantico National Cemetery.

Locally, a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Heritage Hills Clubhouse.
