Andrew
Guarraci
May 24, 1960 – April 9, 2026
Andrew Guarraci, 65, of Clermont, Florida passed away on April 9, 2026 after fighting pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Laurie Guarraci, children Sarah (Andrew) Snyder, Andrew Guarraci, Michael Gambale, sister Marianne Guarraci, as well as several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Andrew was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 24, 1960 to parents Ellen and Joseph Guarraci. Though at first glance he had a gruff exterior, Andrew was known as a generous man who had a heart of gold. He was willing to go out of his way for those in need and always there with a helping hand or piece of advice. Growing up, Andrew loved trains and had a passion for motorcycles. When he was younger, he was an avid motorcyclist and, when he could no longer ride, he was known to go to car and bike shows on nice days. Andrew also loved working with his hands. As an HVAC technician, he spent most of his days fixing air conditioners or refrigerators. When he was not at work, he could be found in his garage using his extensive tool collection to work on personal projects. Andrew had a wonderful sense of humor, known in his family affectionately as Grumpy or the Grinch, he would use his gruff exterior to make others around him laugh. One of the major highlights of his life was becoming an honorary grandfather or “Papa” to his bonus grandchild Nolan. From the time Nolan came into his life, until the day he passed away, the bond they shared was a joy for everyone to see. In the last few years of his life, Andrew enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Laurie. Throughout their many travels, visiting London became his favorite destination. Oftentimes he spoke about wanting to return there in the future. Andrew will be remembered forever for his dedication, strength, kindness, and the love he had for his family and friends. While he will be missed terribly, his memory and love will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
