Obituary
Andre Jean Jacques Peter, age 78, Clermont, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home. He was born December 9, 1939 in Mulhouse, France, the youngest of 8 children. He left home at the age of 15 to study abroad. Nearly a decade later he came to the states where he began his career in the restaurant and airline business, which afforded him and his family many adventures, from Germany to Egypt, to Colorado, and finally Florida, where he spent his last 10 years prior to retirement in sales. He was restless for adventure and thirsty for knowledge, truly hardworking and self taught. His passions were the outdoors and his many beautiful gardens. He had a soft spot for all of God's creatures. His happiest place was under a tree with a good book and his dog at his feet.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosemarie Peter; his children Erick Peter& his wife Deanna Peter; Franck Peter & his wife Kelly Peter; Christine Vaughn & her husband Brandon Vaughn & his four grandchildren, Zoe Peter, Victoria Vaughn, Serena Vaughn & Colt Vaughn.
