Obituary
Amy Rae Layne Morehouse, 51, of Groveland, Florida, went to meet our heavenly father Wednesday June 24, 2015. Amy was born on October 4, 1963 in Clermont, Florida.
Amy served as a Board Member of General Federation of Women's Clubs South Lake, South Lake Junior Women's Club, Board of Director for Back to School is Cool, Executive Board Member and Chaplain American Auxiliary Post 55, Music Board Member for Z88.3, Licensed Real Estate Agent, Licensed Doctor of Herbal Medicine, Notary Public and the Chief Financial Officer of Doctors Weight Control.
Amy is survived by her husband Anthony, son Eric and daughter Jackie Rice, mother and father-in-law Ruth and Rube Morehouse, sisters-in-law, Bridget Conley(Bruce), Bernie McClellan(Jerry), Lillian Welborn(James). She is also survived by her great aunts, Shirlee Leathers, Jessica Carden (Ron), Maribell Woodard (Ron), Carol Ruckman (Don), brothers-in-law, Clyde Plummer and Rod Johnson, uncle, Clyde Ed Layne and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and one great nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rae Johnson Layne Mooseman, her father, Glenn Layne, two sisters, Terri Layne Johnson, Toni Layne Plummer and nephew, Aaron Plummer.
Arrangements are:
Services will be held on Sunday, June 28th at 4:00 pm at Hope International Church State Road 33, Groveland. The family request mourners wear pink as that was Amy's favorite color. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund (JCCF) P.O. Box 770446, Winter Garden, Florida 34777.
