Alvin N. Strickland, 95, of Clermont, Florida passed away Monday April 13, 2020.

Alvin was born in Jamaica to Rupert Strickland and Kizzia Deynott. He grew up in the same parish as his wife Nesta. Alvin was a quiet & gentle soul. When he formed friendships with people they were life long friendships. Alvin was known for his love of gardening, especially vegetables. He would share many of the vegetables he grew with his friends and neighbors. He was known as a kind and generous man. Every morning Alvin would bring his wife an overflowing cup of coffee to ensure she would start her day smiling. Alvin loved his family more than anything. He will be greatly missed by his 4 children, many nieces and nephews and his wife Nesta.
