Alvin J. Gaudet's Obituary
Alvin J. Gaudet, 77, of Clermont, FL passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at South Lake Hospital. Alvin was born on November 28, 1940 in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada, son of William and Elsie (nee Blanchard) Gaudet. He was a retired carpenter and resided in Clermont for the past 13 years. Alvin was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; children, Eileen Potkay and William Gaudet; siblings, Simone (Peter) Elliot, Gloria, Cecile (Albert) LeBlanc, Diane, Linda, Jeanne (Pat) Balcom and Marie; grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Potkay, Natasha Maria Gaudet, Ray Allan Potkay, Thomas James Gaudet, Jr. and Adam Jordan Gaudet; great grandchildren, Anthony Esposito and Valentina Gagner and several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
Alvin was preceded in death by sons, Allan Jean Gaudet and Thomas James Gaudet and siblings, Robert Gaudet, Paul Gaudet and Geneva Benoit.
