Allen Joseph Daries, 68, passed peacefully on September 7th at Cornerstone Hospice House after a valiant battle of bladder cancer.

Allen was born March 30th, 1953 in Valley Stream New York to Alfred Daries and Imelda Daries who preceded him in death.

He grew up with loving siblings Arlene Flotteron and Raymond Daries. As a teen, he loved being on the water, boating, and surfing.

He graduated from Valley Stream High School in 1971 and later went on to marry Patricia Lynn Daries in 1980. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and an avid Florida Gator fan.

He is survived by his wife Patti, son Justin, grandchildren Poppy Blake and Decker Maddox, and nieces and nephews, Cheryl Toomey, Tom Daries, Bryan Daries, Robert Daries, Joseph Flotteron, Steven Flotteron, Justine Flotteron, Jenna Leigh Burger, Kevin Caldwell, and Kris Caldwell

Aside from the children he loved, Allen is survived by Marybeth Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell, and Virginia Daries.

During his final days, he peacefully watched videos of his grandchildren on repeat. His final movement came while listening to his two-year-old granddaughter sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. The corner of his lip ticked up ever so slightly and we knew he was beaming on the inside.

At Allen's request, there will be no service.
