Alice Elizabeth Golden Zoller Passed away Saturday July 29, 2023, in Orlando, Fl.

She was born in Irondale, Ohio, the 2nd of 5 siblings. She went to Asbury College in Ky., where she met Duane Zoller. They married and soon baby Sharon was on the way. Alice's first adventure was to travel to Isle of Pines, Cuba as the wife of a missionary and teacher with their baby.

Upon returning to Ky., Duane finished Seminary and served as a circuit-driving pastor to 3 small churches. Alice prepared for the birth of Darrell. The young family moved to Florida in the 1960's joining the United Methodist Church Conference. Duane served 10 different Methodist churches in Florida.

Alice lived a life of service to others. From baking zillions of cookies for church events to sewing for many Mission projects, she loved serving God. She taught Sunday School and served over the years on the Women's Service Council and other Ministries.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Duane. Upon retirement, they bought a camper & traveled. They visited 49 states. They loved being together. They bought their first home in Clermont but as grandkids arrived, they moved to Orlando to be closer to family including grandkids Ashley Zoller Shope, Lyndsey Zoller, Heather Walker, and Clayton Walker. They celebrated all four graduating from college. Recently they were overjoyed to spend time with great-grandchildren, twins Charlotte & Allistair Shope and Clark Walker.

The last 13 years were spent living at the Orlando Lutheran Towers where they made many friends and enjoyed many activities for Seniors.

She is survived by husband Duane, daughter Sharon(Jody) Walker, son Darrell(Nancy) Zoller, grandchildren Ashley(Chris) Shope, Lyndsey Zoller, Heather Walker, Clayton(Sara) Walker, and great-grandchildren Allistair Shope, Charlotte Shope, and Clark Walker. Siblings Margaret Hutton, Walter Golden, and William Golden along with a multitude of nieces and nephews also survive her.

A Celebration of Life Service with Inurnment will be Sunday, Aug. 13 at 1:30pm at the Living Hope Church at 950 7th St. Clermont, FL. where Duane had served as pastor.
