Alice Launius, 71, Clermont, passed away May 1, 2013 at South Lake Hospital. She was born January 14, 1942 in Murphysboro, IL daughter of Loraine Hawkins & Lester Crane. She was a seamstress at Davis Dry Cleaner's prior to relocating to central Florida in 2008 from Kokomo, IN. She was a member of Chapel Baptist Church in Clermont. Her husband Donald Launius preceded her in death in July 2012. Surviving are her children Donald Wayne Launius & wife Pamela of Clermont; Patricia Ann Bell & husband Terry & Steven James Launius & wife Brandy Marie all of Kokomo; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren & siblings Leonard Crane, Murphysboro; Roy (Julie) Crane, Walter (Euba) Crane, Jane (Junior) House, Helen (John) Russell, Lizzy (George) Launius, Arlene (Bill) Rinehart & Lillian (Gene) Johnson all of Kokomo. The funeral service for Alice Launius will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Chapel Baptist Church, 15744 CR 474, Clermont, FL. Pastor Chris Luppino will officiate.
