Obituary for Alexandra Josephine Bohlig
Alexandra Josephine Bohlig (Lexi) was born at home into the loving arms of her family on May 17, 2025.
A healthy 7lbs 4oz, she was the youngest of 5 and was an exciting blessing her family eagerly anticipated.
She brought immense joy to all those blessed to be able to snuggle with and love on her.
She enjoyed spending time around the pool, lulled to sleep by the splashing and playing of her siblings.
Her smiles were just starting to show, and her beautiful hair and eyes melted the hearts of all who encountered her.
On July 20th, 2025, Alexandra's health declined rapidly, due to a previously undetected heart defect.
She was given an emergency Baptism by her mother as doctors and nurses did all they could.
Lexi passed peacefully from her parents' arms into the arms of Jesus as they prayed a rosary over her at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida the morning of July 21st, 2025.
Alexandra is the daughter of Nathan and Cathy Bohlig of Groveland, Florida.
Alexandra is survived by her parents, and her siblings; Nicholas, Kateri, David, and Felicity as well as a plethora of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and many other extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st at 8:30am at St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida
A Mass will be said for Alexandra on Wednesday, August 6th at 9am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chehalis, Washington
