This past week had been anything but normal dealing will losing such a dear friend and at age far too young and immediately returning teach an unruly class of classless young students, certainly didn't the cushion a return having faced the death of a harsh reality. I felt so unusual leaving a friend in need, who was no longer in need. I knew a guy with great wit, countless energy and an insatiable desired to meet new friends and impress the friends he had. He was a generous man always willing to lend a hand. He was adventurous and brave and often the kingpin of a debacle. Though nothing was done with total recluse, as safety was first always an imperative consideration and foremost consideration in every act of grandeur
In all, Alan relished being the center of attention. He lived for the moment to entertain. A loving man who lived to bring laughter to every moment of the day. Theses moments were quite diverse, and included scenes in bowling alleys, the ball slipping and hitting the roof, to lawn mowers used to out run cars, and an occasional miscalculation in road speed allowing his parent's car to clear a rock lined driveway.
Kind, adventurous, daring, brave, friendly, loving and caring blended with hard working, dedicated and determined. Alan always found a way to entertain his friends in a most imaginable manner and in the most loving and caring way that always ended with his gleaming smile and a twinkle in his eye. And that is how I last saw him as he squeezed my hand, smiled and gave me the twinkle in his eye one last time. RIP my forever friend
