Agostinho Jose Valente Marques, 89, of Clermont, Florida passed away peacefully at home on November 10, 2025. Agostinho was born in Murtosa, Portugal on October 4, 1936. He was orphaned at a young age and was raised by his siblings. At the age of nineteen, he joined the Portuguese Military where he served a 4 year term.  In 1966, he immigrated to The United States and later met his beloved wife Maria Isabel while vacationing in Portugal. They married December of 1969 and had four children. He ended his career from Heavy and General Laborer's Union Local 472 in 2000 and retired to Clermont, Florida.

In addition to his beloved wife of 54 years, he leaves behind his children Isabel, Rosemary and Nancy; his eight grandchildren, Tyler, Devin, Emma, Alyssa, Joshua, Marcus, Brooke and Brandon; and his sibling Adelaide Ferreira. He is predeceased by their first born son, Agostinho Jr. ; and his siblings, Antonio, João, Palmira and Angela.
