Obituary

ADAM RAYMOND LICHTI

Adam was born April 8, 1987 at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Ms.

Adam spent his early years in Pavilion and Warsaw, NY until moving to Clermont, FL in 1994.

Adam found his love of agriculture as a child while living in NY. Farming came naturally with his very inquisitive mind. His interest began on Harkins Dairy Farm. Adam would spend hours "working on the farm", many times getting him back home was a chore!

Living in Florida, Adam was active in Boy Scouts and excelled in roller hockey with the YMCA young league and a youth team in Orlando. The highlight of his boy scout career was hiking the Appalachian Trail. He also played football for the East Ridge Knights during his high school years.

Adam's faith was deep. He was active in the South Lake Presbyterian Youth Group and mentored some of the younger youth. Adam learned guitar and joined the Praise Band, which led the evening services. His walk with God continued his entire life, attending worship and bible studies during college and throughout his travels as he sought his place in the world of agriculture.

Adam graduated from East Ridge High School with honors, and continued his education at the University of Florida and became part of the Gator Nation. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture/Agronomy in 2009.

After graduation, Adam worked in agriculture at various farms and settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he continued his beloved career of farming until his death.

Adam was a quiet and reserved person but he had a good heart and was always willing to help someone. This continued after his death as he was a tissue donor.

Adam is survived by his parents Daryl and Sandy (Slane) Lichti, and sister Lindsay Lichti. Aunts and Uncles: Debbie (Lichti) Herford, Darlene (Lichti) and Eric Colvin, Tina (Lichti) and Andy Jervis, Dennis Lichti, Jack Slane, Kathy (Slane) and Roger Collins, Janet (Slane) and Ron Edwards, and Marsha Slane.
